Ian Flannigan
Since Tully's doors opened in 2002, Ian has been there help his clients "evolve" their hair. Recently voted by D Magazine as Best Trendsetting Hairstylist, this stylist has been rocking the hair industry in Dallas ever since.

Before turning to hair full time, Ian worked on his music degree, which according to him was the perfect segue into his current career. Being a musician and always playing in bands, he wanted his hair to look funky and wild, so he began doing his own hair as early as middle school. From that early age, he was attracted to art. Whether graffiti or now collecting works of art in his home, Ian is completely immersed into all aspects of creativity. When not sculpting and painting his clients' hair, he is looking for other ways to exercise his originality at home. One of his areas of specialty is Asian hair.

To Ian, music and fashion are the pinnacle of hair and its position in time. Ian also looks to nature for inspiration. He creates styles stimulated by his inspiration, but with his clients in mind, to produce an outcome that can be recreated after leaving his chair. Ian bonds very quickly with his clients and is able to collaborate with them on their hair. This helps him develop a style that is unique to them. From actors, musicians and other kindred spirits to professionals and stay at home moms, Ian accepts the challenge of incorporating his works of art in their everyday lives without having to manipulate who they are or what their daily routine is in order for them to achieve the look. His desire is for his clients to feel sexy and beautiful- hair isn't the masterpiece, the person is.

"Whether it's edgy or classic, it still needs to have soft elegance."
